Call for papers

Following the success of the first ISDS 2023 organized at Can Tho University, the second ISDS 2024 organized at Nha Trang University, This year, the ISDS 2025 will be held at CICT, Can Tho University. Objectives of this international conference is to attract domestic and foreign researchers to participate and present outstanding and recent research in the field of ICT. This is an opportunity for scientists to meet, exchange, and cooperate. The ISDS 2025 is also a place for students to report and learn new results in the field of ICT. This ISDS conference looks at state-of-the-art and original research issues (in the topics of intelligent systems and data science).

Topics of the conference relate to (but not limited to):

  • Track 1: Intelligent Systems & Recommender Systems
  • Track 2: Data Science & Machine Learing
  • Track 3: Image Processing & Pattern Recognition
  • Track 4: Natural Language Processing

Important dates

  • Deadline for submission: 30/06/2025Extended to 15/07/2025 (hard deadline)
  • Acceptance notification: 10/08/2025 
  • Deadline for final papers: 16/08/2025 
  • Conference dates: 18/10/2025 - 19/10/2025

Submission guidelines

All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. Authors are invited to electronically submit full papers in English. The submitted papers must be in PDF in the LNCS/CCIS one-column page format. The length of submitted papers should be from 12-15 pages (for long papers) and 6-8 pages (for short papers). All papers have to be written in the English language.

Publications

 All accepted papers will be published through one of the following methods (based on the review results):

+ Top 10% papers will be published by Journal on Information Technologies & Communications (ICT Research, ISSN 1859-3534)
 - Registration fee: Vietnamese authors: 2.500.000 VND;
 - Foreign authors: 200 USD

+ 35% papers will be published by Springer Verlag in Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS, Scopus).
 - Registration fee: Vietnamese authors: 4.000.000 VND;
 - Foreign authors: 300 USD

+ 15% papers will be published by CTU Journal of Innovation and Sustainable Development (CTUJoISD), https://ctujs.ctu.edu.vn. These papers will be reformated according to the CTUJoISD template by the authors.
 - Registration fee: Vietnamese authors: 1.500.000 VND;
 - Foreigner authors: 150 USD

Moreover, selected papers, after further revision and extension (at least 30%), will be considered for publication in special issues of the Springer Nature Computer Science (SNCS) journal. The SNCS is indexed and abstracted in Scopus, ACM Digital Library, DBLP, Google Scholar, etc

Prof. Kwanghoon KimDirector of Content Convergence Software Research Institute, Kyonggi University, Republic of Korea
KWANGHOON KIM(Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in computer science from Kyonggi University, South Korea, in 1984, the M.S. degree in computer science from Chungang University, South Korea, in 1986, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from the University of Colorado Boulder, USA, in 1994 and 1998, respectively. He is currently a Full Professor with the Division of AI Computer Science and Engineering and the Founder and the Supervisor of the Data and Process Engineering Research Laboratory, Kyonggi University. He is also the Vice-Chair of the BPM Korea Forum. He has been the in charge of the Country-Chair (South Korea) and the ERC Vice-Chair of the Workflow Management Coalition. He has been on the editorial board of the journal of KSII and a committee member of several conferences and workshops.

Prof. Dr. Dewan Md. FaridDean of School of Science & Engineering, Southeast University
Prof. Dr. Dewan Md. Farid is the Dean of School of Science and Engineering, and Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at Southeast University. He is an IEEE Senior Member and Member ACM. Prof. Farid has published 160+ peer-reviewed scientific articles, including 39 highly esteemed journals like Expert Systems with Ap­plications, IEEE Access, Journal of Theoretical Biology, Journal of Neuroscience Methods, Bioinformatics, Scientific Reports (Nature), Proteins and so on in the field of Machine Learning, Data Mining, Data Science and Big Data. Prof. Farid delivered several invited/keynote talks including an invited research talk at Data to AI Group (DAI), Laboratory for Information and Decision Systems (LIDS), Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA.

Prof. Kazuhiro Ogata received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in engineering from Keio University, in 1990, 1992, and 1995, respectively. He is currently a Professor with the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST). He is also the director of Research Center for Advanced Computing Infrastructure, JAIST. His research interests include applications of formal methods to systems, such as distributed systems and security protocols
